Description
"Majdanek w dokumentach" is a collection of 315 records concerning the German death camp in Lublin. They came from the Majdanek commandant’s office, various institutions related to the activity of the camp and central authorities of Nazi Germany administrating the system of Nazi concnentration camps. An important part of the publication constitute materials by resistance movement, Polish charity organizations and prisoners’ correspondence.
Documents collected in one volume – until now scattered in many publications and archives – are ordered thematically and chronologically. This has led to the publication, which documents the history of the Majdanek camp in a comprehensive manner and is also the first of its kind source edition devoted to the camp issues.
