The publication has been issued especially for the German speaking public. Published for the first time in the 23rd volume of "Zeszyty Majdanka" [Majdanek Booklets], it presents the result of the research on the problem of registering deaths and prisoners’ death records in the camp. A crucial part of the work is a choice of sources containing colour reproductions of 40 archival documents connected with the topic concerned.
